At code freeze, the Anam team picks 5 finalists, judged on three things:

Winner announced

Voting closes 10am PT, Thursday July 30. The best build takes home the $5,000 the same day.

The vote runs on real likes from real people. Obviously inauthentic engagement is disqualified at our discretion. Full T&Cs

Who can enter

Open worldwide (excluding sanctioned regions). Solo or teams of up to 3; the prize is paid to the entrant who posted the qualifying quote-tweet. Anam employees and contractors can’t enter.

A valid entry

Built during the window (July 14 to 26). An Anam avatar has to be core to the experience, not a garnish. The quote-tweet must include a video of the build working and a link to a live demo judges can try.

Multiple entries

Allowed. One quote-tweet per build.

Ownership

You own everything you build. By entering you give Anam permission to repost and feature your entry.

Entries close 11:59pm PT Sun July 26 → finalists announced Tue July 28 → vote closes 10am PT Thu July 30 → winner announced same day.

Do I need to pay for anything?

No. The free tier is enough to build and demo.

Can I use other tools and APIs?

Yes, encouraged. Build with Lovable, Claude Code, Cursor, anything. Just make the Anam avatar central.

Does my demo need to be deployed?

Yes. Include a link judges can open. The video shows it off; the link proves it's real.

I don't have many followers. Can I still win?

Yes. Finalists are picked purely on quality by the Anam team. Only the final 5 go to a public vote, and we amplify all finalists equally.

What video should I post?

30–90 seconds of your build actually working. Screen recording is fine.

Can I enter more than once?

Yes. Each build gets its own quote-tweet.

The small print.

Draft, pending legal review before launch.

Eligibility: open worldwide excluding regions subject to sanctions (list to be confirmed by legal); entrants must be able to lawfully receive the prize. Anam employees and contractors are excluded.
One prize of $5,000 USD.
Entry: a qualifying quote-tweet of the pinned launch post, posted within the entry window (July 14 to 11:59pm PT July 26, 2026), containing a video of the build working and a link to a live demo.
Finalist shortlist is at Anam’s sole discretion.
Vote: the 5 finalist posts are published from @Anam__ai on July 28, 2026; the post with the most likes at 10:00am PT on July 30, 2026 wins.
Anti-manipulation: entries with inauthentic engagement (bots, purchased likes, engagement pods) may be disqualified at Anam’s discretion, with no obligation to disclose evidence. Anam’s decision is final.
Content & features: entrants retain ownership of their builds and grant Anam a non-exclusive right to repost and feature entries.
The winner is responsible for their own taxes.
Anam reserves the right to amend or cancel the challenge at any time.
Privacy: entry data is limited to public X activity; see anam.ai’s privacy policy for how we handle personal data.
